Join NoMAA & the northern Manhattan arts community, meet this year’s honorees & celebrate the Uptown Arts Stroll opening in West Harlem, Washington Heights & Inwood at the Sugar Hill Museum with DJ Taela Naomi and outdoor artist-led workshop by the Sugar Hill Museum on the plaza.
The Uptown Arts Stroll runs from May 30-June 30 with exhibitions and events from West 125th to West 220th Street. Pickup a printed guide or view this online calendar & website for more information.

Whether it’s a hands-on workshop or an educational panel, First Thursdays aims to strengthen the cultural fabric of Northern Manhattan by encouraging collaboration and support within the arts community.
Join surrealist artist Ruthy Valdez for an insightful workshop focused on using social media to grow your art career.
Ruthy will guide you through Instagram best practices, from optimizing your profile to mastering hashtags and stories. You’ll also explore how to leverage TikTok’s unique features to create viral content, engage your audience, and build a following. Learn the art of creating compelling, shareable posts and discover the power of LinkedIn for connecting with art professionals and potential collaborators.
