Ensemble Connect is a program of Carnegie Hall, The Juilliard School, and the Weill Music Institute in partnership with the New York City Department of Education. This two-year fellowship program prepares extraordinary young professional classical musicians for careers that combine musical excellence with teaching, community engagement, advocacy, entrepreneurship, and leadership. Ensemble Connect offers top-quality performance opportunities, intensive professional development, and the opportunity to partner with a New York City public school throughout the fellowship.

BERIO Ricorrenze per quintetto a fiato – a Pierre Boulez per il suo sessantesimo compleanno for Wind Quintet (15’) BEETHOVEN Septet in E-flat Major, Op. 20 (40’)
Nine of stellar Venezuelan soprano Maria Brea’s voice students will sing a variety of opera pieces. This is the fourth time Maria has brought her students to the Shrine, and each time it has been a wonderful evening. By donation, with proceeds to benefit the Shrine.
Competition-winning pianist Maxim Anikushin plays music of Ravel, Tshcikovsky, Beethoven and others in this Christmas concert for all. Suggested donation of $15.
