The CORNERSTONE CHORALE will perform its Winter Concert, presenting choral works of Eric Whitacre, Ben Allaway, Norman Luboff, and the Christmas Oratorio of Camille Saint-Saëns (for chorus, soloists, and ensemble). Soloists are Jane Thorngren, soprano; Jessica Vadney, mezzo; Cristóbal Arias, tenor; and Blake Austin Brooks, bass. The concert will be conducted by Music Director Richard Stout.

Buunni Coffee: Uptown Girls Photo Show Opening Reception
Join us for the opening reception of Uptown Girls: Stories Through Our Lens on January 12th, 2025, 3PM – 5PM at Buunni Coffee Inwood.
This show features the work of 11 Uptown women photographers, showcasing over 30 images that span a wide range of photography genres: portrait, landscape, abstract, photojournalism, and beyond.
We welcome our creative community to come meet the photographers featured in the show, celebrate the work, and enjoy a delicious cup of Buunni coffee! Food and drinks will be available for purchase.

Tomo is a local artist who has been recognized nationally and internationally.
Her fabric collage series utilizes mosaic-like techniques using paint and fabric. Hundreds of squares reminiscent of digital pixels compose an aggregate like a living organism.
She states: I restore my inner balance by an almost ritual-like creative process, praying to heal and reconnect a world that is broken in so many places.
