Then, use a curated selection of beginner-friendly reference images to create one to two finished works on watercolor paper. Whether you’re an artist looking to expand your practice or a beginner eager to try something new, you’ll leave with completed artworks, an informational leaflet about gouache, and the joy of a new creative experience!

The United Palace of Cultural Arts is proud to present the first two episodes of Choir Games, a four-part documentary about the World Choir Games, the largest choral competition on Earth. View trailer.
Two choirs – Young People’s Chorus of New York City and the Kaitaia Community Voices from rural New Zealand – live oceans apart, but find they are connected by music as they navigate personal challenges and the pressure of competition, and find their lives forever changed. Choir Games is a deeply moving, often hilarious, exploration of the transformative power of song.
After the two 45-minute episodes (90 minutes total) there will be a talk back with the filmmakers.
This program is supported by the United Palace of Cultural Arts, in part, by public funds from the New York City Department of Cultural Affairs in partnership with the City Council.
