Our Savior’s Atonement: WHCO Family Concert “The Music That Inspires Us”

Bring the whole family to our “Meet the Instruments” petting zoo where even our youngest listeners can get up close and personal with their favorite instruments before seeing them come alive onstage. Then find your seats for our enchanting and engaging Family concert! Narrator Sarah Ziegler will guide you through musical selections from our MainStage concert “The Music that Inspires Us.

  • 2:15pm-2:45pm: Meet the Instruments
  • 3pm-3:45pm: Family Concert

Best for children age 1-10 and their families.
*All attendees must purchase a ticket. Infants under the age of 1 receive complimentary admission.

WHCO Family concerts are relaxed performances.

Uptown Fall Fest: Día de Ofrendas (NEW LOCATION)

Get ready for an afternoon full of joy, sabor, and community spirit, all while supporting scholarships for our students at The Academy for Theatre, Leadership, & Advocacy.

Inwood Hill Park: 30th Annual Autumn Starfest

Join us for the 30th Annual Autumn Starfest, hosted by the Amateur Astronomers Association (AAA), on Saturday, November 1, 2025, from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM at Pat’s Lawn at Inwood Hill Park!
This free, family-friendly event invites New Yorkers of all ages to celebrate three decades of urban stargazing. Enjoy telescope views of star clusters, double stars, and Saturn; hear expert talks on astronomy, and engage in interactive activities designed for all skill levels.
The first 150 attendees will receive free gift bags! Autumn Starfest is a NYC tradition you won’t want to miss. Come and be part of this stellar celebration of astronomy in the heart of the city!
Location details: Pat’s Lawn at Inwood Hill Park (enter at W 218 Street and Indian Road)
Train: 1 train to 215th Street
Bus: Bx7, Bx20 to W 218th St. and Broadway;
Free and open to the public! All ages welcome. Weather permitting – canceled if raining.

Word Up welcomes beloved author & illustrator Yuyi Morales for a bilingual (English & Spanish) story time of her new picture book Little Rebels / Peques rebeldes.  Do you know a little rebel? Do you want to be a rebel, too?

Caldecott Honoree and six-time Pura Belpré Medalist Yuyi Morales, creator of Dreamers, Viva Frida, and Bright Star, draws on Mexican folklore in this much-anticipated new offering. Little Rebels is as bold and spirited as the young trailblazers it chronicles.
